I have a Tyan S1837UANGR Thunder and flashed it with the utility and rom that was told to flash with. Now my computer just beeps and nothing, not even the power button will turn it off. nothing works. What are my options? I need help bad!!!!

Did you clear the CMOS after flashing ?
Does the diskette drive run as per the Wim's BIOS main site FAQ #9 ?
I don't know the board - can you put an ISA video card in it ?
Otherwise, see FAQ #27 about hot swap flashing your chip in another motherboard.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

There is a beeping that will not allow the machine to boot to anything, floppy or cd, and will not power off with the power button either. An ISA card will not help since I can't boot up at all..... any idea's other than buying a new chip?

I can't give you a direct link as the site is set up to prevent direct deep linking (I guess to avoid other sites simply linking to their data).

If it's an Award BIOS and it's going long beep, two short beeps that means it can't find the video card - you have integrated video ? If you did have an ISA video card, that *might* allow it to progress beyond that point.
