Later version of BioStar M6VCG ? ... can you tell us what message appears under the Award logo in the top left of the memory count screen ?

[update] (probably "VCG0711B", which means you have the latest on the BioStar website).

As this is an Award 6.00 BIOS it should have support for 128 GB HDD in the BIOS, so you may need to consider other factors which could cause your problem e.g. cabling, CMOS setup.

Please be a little more specific with your problem .
Does your HDD spin up ?
Is your HDD not detected at all or do you get error messages or hang ups while detecting ?
Do you have the 80wire UDMA cable conncted with Blue end to mainboard and black end to Master drive ?
Please check the used jumper settings and try the alternative setting - all possible settings should be printed onto a small sticker or are available at IBM website .
If your HDD does not work plese recheck on a second computer - maybe dead .
