I have a 586 with a SOYO 5TA2 motherboard (7/12/95 triton 2A59CS2HC-00 and Intel FX Chipset) with 2 banks(0 and 1) of SIMM memory and i´ve instaled with 4 memory sticks 8mbs each (all equals)and the problem is that in bank 0 only detects 8 mbs when should be 16mb. I ´ve tried to change them ones with others;then just 1 bank ,then the other bank and same thing happens,so there´s no problem with the memories themselves. The motherbord manual says it can support from 4mbs to 128mbs
is there anything that can be done to solve the problem?

Get the latest BIOS. There's
08/22/97-i430FX-2A59CS2HC-00
TAN-0823
at http://www.soyousa.com/bios/586supp/5tan0823.bin
Backup your BIOS before flashing.
