Hi Bimbo
Can you tell us please what other message you see, at the top left of the memory count screen ? It could be:
"FOR TX-5IB2 PCI/ISA/AGP MODE VER:1.3"
or
"FOR 5TX29 PCI/ISA/AGP MODE VER:1.3"

I have moved this to a more appropriate forum.

[additional info: Redfox/Fordlian TX-5IB2 and 5TX29 both use this string]

Hi Nick,
thank you for your reply.
It is a "TX-5IB2 PCI/ISA/AGP MODE VER:1.3".
On the homepage from Redfox I couldn´t
find a working update.
All the Best!

Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

There seems to be a patched version here: http://bios.rom.by/Acorp/socket7.htm

...of the 5TX29 BIOS.

Rainbow, could you help us with the Russian? Apart from the K6-X+ support, what does it say? (also mentions 32GB...).

Yup, that's how I found there were two with the same string. :) So I guess I'll patch that one, if no-one has already done it ?

Hallo,
I downloaded the versions, but i can´t unzip.
All versions have a CRC-mistake.
What can I do?
Thanks

Maybe the download didn't complete - I had that problem earlier today from that site. I have downloaded one and patched it - I will email it to you for you to test.
Note: the zip file contains a .bin file which contains lharc compressed files. Do not decompress these to produce (e.g.) original.tmp etc.

Hallo Nick,
thank you for your email. I pached my bios and now
it works with my 40GB harddisk.
I got an answer from RedFox, too:
"you need a disk manager to maximize your hard drive capacity".
RedFox sent me a file "Ontrack Data International solution for
33GB BIOS lockup".
But your bios-update did works already.
All the best
