Machine Brand says Everex Explora 610CX, Processor is an AMD K6, BIOS is AWARD 4.51 PG of Aug. 21, 1999

My new IBM Ultrastar 40 GB is not recognized during POST.

Problem seems to be the known Award-33GB-Bug.

Anyone knowing where to get a BIOS update for this machine?

Microstar motherboard. Look for an MS-xxxx inscription on it somewhere.

And please post complete Bios-ID + Version message in the upper left corner just below the Award Logo .
Should read like W5184MS + Biosdate
