A Google search come up with this :
http://www.motherboards.org/mobocop/vie ... /7781.html
Zida Tomato BX98-3D
http://www.zida.com/support/oldbios.htm
http://www.zida.com/download/bx98-3d/bios/bx3d108e.zip
Latest Bios from Zida is :
07/29/1999-691-586B-8661-2A6LFZ1AC-00
Bios Version message :
BX98-3D Ver 1.08 <990729>
Might support your 40Gb HDD but you have to remove the 32GB limitation jumper to test it !

Wow - seems to be good work from Zida with a 7/99 Bios for an old VIA 691 Mainboard supporting 128GB without having the 64GB BUG .
