Packard Bell called it the "Tempest" motherboard
http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/pb/mb/tempest.htm lists info and has a 2.1 BIOS

Packard Bell themselves have downloads of this and other motherboards at http://www.packardbell.co.uk/support/node485.asp

Where did you read that ?
Some drivers are atMSI Deutschland's MSI6147 page (click on Treiber)
Packard Bell list some at http://support.packardbell-europe.com/support/pri/item/item_platform_legacy_PB.asp
If you are running a recent version of Windows I would expect it to recognise everything.

Actually, the fact is that i got the computer from my uncle. Then i replaced the harddisk in the computer because the old one has bad sector.

Then i updated the BIOS by using the patched BIOS Updated provided by Nicks. The result is that the harddisk can be detected and i installed win 2000 in the harddisk. However, i don't have the Mother Board's driver disk but the windows can work normally, but there is a problem in that there is no sound output. Therefore, i think if it is the problem of lack of Mother Board driver disk. Until now, the problem haven't been solved yet and no sound is output but the windows operate normally.

Would anyone can help me to solve the problem? There is a on board Sound. I bought a new sound card and disable the on Board Sound but there are still no sound output after i installed the sound card driver.
