For Intel(R) Coppermine(R) CPU support, please check first if your mainboard have a blue sticker with the letter "C" located in the I/O chip, if yes, that means your system could support Intel(R) Coppermine(R) CPU. (The Winbond I/O chip is located beside the BIOS chip)
I would be happier to patch the V1.7 BIOS rather than the V1.8 if you do not have Coppermine support on the motherboard.
Microstar sold a lot of boards to system builders (such as Fujitsu). As your message says "W6147P4" instead of "W6147MS" it seems likely that yours was one of these, but I don't know which system builder "P4" is. You should be able to download an unpatched version of a later BIOS from
here but I will email a patched version of the 1.7 BIOS if you would like to test it.
