40GB: LuckyTech 09/07/1998-i440LX-W83977-2A69JSHGC-00

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

Does anyone have an updated bios for this mobo. Their site is down forever and I don't want to use a disk manager (hdd is a Maxtor) because I've heard I cannot boot from cdrom (only from hdd and floppy).
If anyone have an updated bios I might give a try.

Can you give us clue on the model ? What is the BIOS OEM message (under the Award logo, at top left of the memory count screen) e.g "Intel 440LX Rev. C"

Might be some version of LuckyTech P6LX3 - please save your BIOS to a file and send it to my e-mail. I will patch it for you.

The string at boot sequence reads : Intel 440LX3 REV 1.5 (FOR W-02).

Looks like a very specific version of the LX3 with a Winbond clockgen.
