My girlfriend's got those Medion/Aldi computer, which just doesn't want to work properly with a Geforce 4, so I wanted to upgrade the bios. But except for the ASUS brand I don't know what it is.
It's running a 1Ghz P3 with 2 SD ram slots.

Upgrading to latest VIA chipset drivers(4in1 from www.viaarena.com) or disabling AGP4x and Fast Writes in Bios helps to get the GF4 working .
