Bios update for Lucky Star 6ABX2V

Postby alconde » Fri Apr 12, 2002 12:08 pm

I need to update my motherboard for using a Maxtor 60GB. It doesn't works with my motherboard.
Where can I find the update for BIOS? In the official page I have found a 2MB BIOS version, but I'm not sure if this one works or if I need 1MB BIOS version.

Thanks.

Why don't you tell us your BIOS ID string first? If it's of 8/1999 (AWARD) or later, it should support 60GB.

After a long loooonnng search I landed on a site with many BIOS's including 6ABX2V: http://formoza-centre.narod.ru/mb.htm There I found 9ka7-1.bin, which solved my 60GB HDD problem. Anyway thanks a lot.
