my pc does not recognize my HDD Samsung SV4002H with 40 GB.

according to other boards i bought a RAID-controller DC-100 RAID.

nevertheless, the bios and windowsXP (incl. SP1) does not support the whole HDD, only 32GB?!?!?!

I already flashed successfully my bios. The current system-datas are:
Intel Pentium III mit 450 MHz
Award Bios V4.51PG (M6VBE V1.X)
VBE1118A
11/18/1999-693-596-8671-2A6LGB09C-00

i think all relevant settings regarding bios etc. are correct.

who can help my to get the total 40GB of my HDD?

Your BIOS already supports HDDs up to 64GB, you don't need any additional cards. Looks like you have the 32GB-clipping enabled using jumpers on the drive.

Thanks for your support!

I meanwhile checked all relevant jumpers (by using the raid-contoller) and corrected the settings. Now the total HDD of 40GB works in best form!
