80GB: ECS P6BAT-A+ PCB 1.1

I've the latest BIOS 1.0h from the ECS-Homepage.
The BIOS will not detect the Primary Master Harddisk MAXTOR 80GB (4D080H4)(=DiamondMax D540X-4D), System hangs.
Only if I set the Jumper on LimitCylinder too, the BIOS detect the Harddisk,
But when i will install w2k/XP, the System show me only 32GB (one Harddisk-partition, but the harddisk is always partitioned.
The BIOS Setting for Primary Master ist set to AUTO
What Should I Do? Help me please

I've flashed the BIOS with the Beta Fw 128GB - all works fine.
No Probs. The Management of all Partitions is okay.
