put a new board in an old case to update. system hangs on boot. cannot get to bios (most often) when i can i notice that the +,- volt reading on bios screen are changing. changed all cards, hard drive, and memory
( 256K DDR 266). everything works in other computer. system runs longer after being shut down for a period of time. suspect power supply is not up to par. is there a simple test for checking power supply output? Or what should I do next? If you have any ides.......thanks in advance!

One way is to run all the drives off a separate PSU, temporarily. If you have another PSU.

Or simply try a brand new PSU. They're very cheap now.
