All is correct. How you patch to do? Under Windows (which), DOS?

I tried patching in a DOS box while running Win98SE. Obviously I'm doing something wrong! Should I not be running Windows, just straight DOS?

I'm not sure what I did different but now the bios patcher program is working, just like it did for Rainbow. This weekend I'll try the new BIOS on my wife's computer and see if it'll run with the new processor. Thanks to all for helping!

I think my problem with running bios patcher was that the name of the bios file was BIOS.ROM. That name causes bios patcher problems. By renaming the bios file to a different name the patcher ran properly.

bios.rom is the filename used by the patcher for the temporary storage, so this makes sense :) Glad you figured it out.
