I recently bought a new Seagate Hdisk and when connecting it, my system does not regonise the HD. I have a ATC-6240 MB with following specs:
Bios type Award Modular Bios v4.51pg
Bios ID: 09/03/98-i440BX-W977TF-ATC-6240c-00
Bios Eval: ATC 6240 VER:1.1 04 WB
Chipset Intel 440BX/ZX rev 2
I already downloaded the latest Bios upgrade (6240118a.bin) from Atrend and tried a Bios upgrade but when I run the AWDflash.exe nothing seems to be happening.
What am I doing wrong? Or should I simply accept that my MB will not accept this HD?
My eternal gratitude if someone can help me out.

The BIOS you downloaded is correct for your board and will support HDDs over 32GB. Try another version of awdflash (or amiflash if you're not successful or uniflash).
