Hi all,

I have problem;
One month ago I bought mainboard ECS K7VTA3C and processor Athlon XP 1700+ (Thoroughbred) and when my computer started BIOS show me:
Processor: Uknown CPU 1700+

And little so big temperature ( 58 - 60 degree Celsius)
Radiator on the CPU is warm not hot.

Thats my BIOS;

Check your board version (should be printed somewhere on the board) and get BIOS from http://www.ecs.com.tw/download/bios_m.htm?submenu_id=23&function_id=1

Temperature is so high because the mainboard reads the internal sensor from your CPU and not the sensor below the CPU (usually displaying 10-20 degrees too low)
