I'm trying to update my Azza motherboard with a VIA VT8363 chipset. Their website isn't as user-friendly as one would hope, especially since my motherboard is apparently 'phased out'. Info on my motherboard can be found here:

My problem is that their bios updates are rather vague. The first one is the one I have on my computer. The one that I need (the one that adds support for windows XP) is a b20 file, not a bin file. What is a b20 file, and how would one update a bios with it? Does it have something to do with the note "Only for palomino core"? How would I find out if I have a palomino core?

They have another update for the bios that is past the date for my bios (2/19/01) but it doesn't resolve the issues I'm having.

So basically my problem is I've found my motherboard, but I can't find out which update I want or how to go about using it. Anybody have any ideas?

I think that the latest one should work.
The "palomino core" remark is to Athlon XP support - means that with this BIOS, you can use Athlon XP CPUs with Palomino core (there are some other e.g. Thoroughbred which will not work).

So I should just update with the b20 file in the same way I would update with a bin file?
