Was wondering if someone could help me override the propeitary lock imposed by Packard Bell, which will not let me update the chip from their bios ver DTOR 3 to Intels DTO_ 9 version. It locks me out at 50% with a (L05) Unable to Prepare for flash erasure! Have tried the Intel trick found elseware here to no avail! Please and Thank you in advance! AL

I upgraded this bios from ver02DTOR to ver03DTOR without involving any jumpers, it took no problems. AL
