screwed up my bios, need some help

Postby hawker » Tue Jun 10, 2003 7:40 am

I was installing a new hard drive, and when I was configuring bios I accidentally set the boot order to look at a drive with no OS installed. Now I can't get back into bios to fix it. I've looked on the net for hours on how to fix corrupt bios or to use new bios, everything I've tried hasn't worked. I am running windows xp pro version. Anyone have a program or bootdisk that will get me into bios so I can change it around?

Thanks.

Try forcing a keyboard error.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

Remove CMOS battery from motherboard and put it back.It should back BIOS settings to default.
