Have an AWARD BIOS v6.00PG. When a Iomega USB powered Zip drive is connected, the computer freezes during boot up. If the Zip is then disconnected from the USB connection, boot up continues successfully. Upon reconnection , the drive works perfectly. Am connecting to a hub on the front of the case or on the rear panel, makes no difference. Any solutions?

Attach the Zip to an externally-powered hub.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.
