HPT 366 Problem

Postby Chipper » Fri Apr 26, 2002 10:27 am

Hi, i modified my bios (abit be6) to boot from cd-rom, and from then on i started having problems with hpt366 although i reverted the settings. Mostly system opens but windows welcomes with a bsod reporting an error about hpt366.sys and system shuts down. Have i messed up something or what? (I have two seperate xp installations, both give the same error)

If it's not raid, try moving drives off the highpoint controller, booting to safe mode, and uninstalling the drivers for it. Then reinstall them.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.
