Soundcard question

Postby Dope Cat » Sun Feb 22, 2004 5:29 am

I know this is a dumb question but I never used bios to disable any devices. So my question is; how do I disable my integrated soundcard?

BTW: My bios doesnt have the "integrated devices" feature. :(

If the BIOS cannot be used for disabling the sound device, I'm not sure, I might prefer to disable it in the O/S. However if the BIOS does not support this feature, perhaps this is a main board jumper that does this.

Check the manual for your mainboard. There are a few boards around on which you cannot disable the onboard sound at all. I hope this is not the case for yours.
