I really eager to implement this in one of my mainboard. My old "experimental" computer, which is VIA693A based, I have the datasheet for both the north and southbridge. Does anyone have try this ? I just need some info on platform other than the one in the official site, since my board is different :?

I will hold my breath :)
If I now understood correctly, you plan to use LinuxBIOS as a replacement of the original Award(AMI?) BIOS in a standalone PC (i. e. not some kind of network boot or similar device)?

yup. I've seen some people boot win2K using LinuxBIOS. It's just curiousity, btw I've experiment with the board's BIOS for quite sometime. I'm not an expert like Rainbow :( , but I can program quite a bit :D.
