I use a Soyo 7VBA-133u mobo with Award 6.0 bios, a 1GHz Celeron, and 768 PC133 sdram. My boot problem is as follows: the initial post screen is shown with the Bios ID and the info at the bottom telling you to press del. to go to setup. The problem is at the bottom it actually says press del to go to s, esc to c and nothing more. It doesn't fill in all the wording and the boot process stops at this point. No keyboard keys can be used and the system won't go into setup. This may happen 4 or 5 times, turning the system off and on, until it finally boots up. I'm running XP home. Any ideas? :(

Try pulling out 2 of your 3 sticks of ram...maybe one is bad.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.
