IrDA 1.0 or IrDA 1.1 - what is the difference..?

I flashed ATC-5000 with the new BIOS from www.rainbow-software ( Mr Rainbow - TNX, it works good).
Now I set onto that mobo IrDA with the cable to the original pins, and want to activate it.
But how to set the best BIOS' settings..?
BIOS' options are:
1. UART Mode: IrDA 1.0; Duplex Mode: Full/Half; TxD,RxD Active: Lo/Hi,Hi,Lo or
2. UART Mode: IrDA 1.1; Duplex M: Full/Half; TxD,RxDActive: Lo,Hi/Lo,Hi; IRRX mode select: IRRX3/IRMODE
3. ASK-IRDA ?
