Any details about Your "adapter" at attached photo, please?

Rainbow:
There are 28DIP flashroms, are'n they? I can't remember type any of Atmel's, but there are they!
Can Uniflash flashs EEPROMS - when I will set "12V" jumper for flash in BIOS socket..? Will it be possible even if chip for flashing has no identyfication with Uniflash?
Best regards,

Tomasz.

It is an adapter to make it easier to (ex)change E-/EP-/FLash-ROMs.

The Testsocket makes all possible.
It is simply how the Testsocket works, but it is hard to explain.

The testsocket has opening/port(they consist of two metal dies).

This is the lever.

("|")= metal dies.

The pins of the EPROM are plugged between |  | .
If the EPROM is plugged ("|. |") and I move down the lever then the |. | close to |.|

@DIP32
2, 3, 28, 29 are not connected.

This cannot be correct.

Pin 26&27 of the DIP 28 must be connected with pin28&29.
Compare these datasheets:
http://atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_doc ... oc0321.pdf
http://atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_doc ... oc0014.pdf

Finally this should be the perfect adapter, is not it?:

You can read any (E)(E)PROM with UniFlash - just use -force parameter to select any chip with matching size.
Patched and tested BIOSes are at http://wims.rainbow-software.org
