Motherboard Failure

Postby Raymond » Mon May 13, 2002 1:31 pm

Hello, i have problems with a motherboard (KM-T5-V3+, PI, Socket 7). It worked properly till i changed the HD, CD and videocard. When i turn on the pc i hear the memory counting and then i get 3 beeps and a zoom (1 long beep and 2 small beeps). Does anyone know what the problem is? I have tried everything in my opinion

Strip everything but RAM and video. Reseat video card. Does it then POST?
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

Reseat

You could also try reseating the RAM just in case. Also try building the system outside the case to illiminate the possibility of a short.
