Update for AMIBIOS 1992 Version 1.00.10.AX1 needed!

I have an (very) old P90 wich I want to add a new HD (Quantum 8Gb) buth the bios Version doesn't recognize it.

Where can I get a new Bios Version and where can I find it ?

It's Intel Premiere/PCI II board (Plato). The latest BIOS is 1.00.16.AX1
See http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/archive/premierepciII/. You can download the BIOS there but it will not help you - it supports still only upto 2GB.

There could be a chance of using a totally different BIOS: I5HS20

It does say you require a previous version of that BIOS, though.

Perhaps "th" could try this on his Plato...
