Expect UniFlash v1.27 soon. Atmel AT29Cxxx detection fixed, SiS630 with IT8705F flashing works...

Got a weird question. Is it possible to use Uniflash to get the BIOS from an EPROM?

All detected chipsets have some code associated so they should work but some of them do not (and some works on some boards and not on other) - you have to try it.

Check if there's 12V on the VPP pin - if not, you need to make a simple adapter. http://rainbow.ht.st/hardware/hotflash.html

You should be able to do the same thing - you just need the pinout of your chip - see datasheet (search the web using Google).
