Hello !
I have received a toshiba satellite 1100 from a friend who applied the wrong bios update (Satellite 1110 ).

The laptop powers up :
I can hear the fan running ! But nothing on the screen !

Anyone knows How to reset the bios to previous state ?
Note: The floppy drive is not bootable ! I tried the TDTS1 from toshiba but the laptop doesn't attempt any boot device !

I have a feeling you'll have to call Toshiba and seek support from them directly.

Propably repair is going to be too expensive.
Try to buy a new motherboard from eBay.
If you can't find any, dismantle and sell parts in eBay
