Hi!
I tried to hot-flash my bios and I destroyed my chip (broken pin  ) wich is W29c020. Before - I saved my original BIOS and I've got W29ee011 chip from my pal's old mobo. Can I replace those chips 8O ?

P.S. Orig. bios image is 256kB wide

P.S.2 As far as I know W29c020 is 2MB (256Kx8) chip and W29ee011 is 1MB (128Kx8) chip.

No, you can't because of the size. 1Mbit is 128KB and 2Mbit is 256KB and your BIOS is 256KB so it will not fit the 128KB chip. Try to solder the pin back - I did that on one EPROM (non-flashable) successfully.

What cross-referenced chips can you recomend me (I mean can I use any 2MB chip?)?

You should use 5V chip. Which chips are supported - that depends on the BIOS you will have there. Atmel AT29C020 is usually OK if you had Winbond there.

OK I've got another question :P
Can I use any other chipset bigger than W29c020? I mean not a 256Kx8 i.e. 512Kx8?

Better not - BIOS will not know how to write ESCD and DMI data there.
