What is the best Video Card for my Motherboard

Postby James_the_Great_1964 » Sun Aug 28, 2005 1:25 am

Motherboard is CB61X-LX (Daewoo) computer; CPU - Slot 1 - Intel Cerelon 300MHz, L1 32Kb and L2 256/512Kb Cache in Processor Card, 4x PCI Slots, 3x ISA Slots, 1x AGP Slot and 3x 168-pin DIMM slots which take PC66 sticks. At this moment in time, have a AGP Trident 3D Image 957, 4Mb.
Wish to purchase a better Video card for the computer to play games. So can someone tell me which is the best video card. Thank you. :?: :(

ATI Rage 128 would be adequate to the CPU. Older Radeons should work too (7000-8500, 9100, 9500, 9700).
I've had Celeron 333, 64MB RAM and 32MB Rage128 in Asus P2B and it was great for games back then. Then I upgraded memory (to 192MB), then CPU (to Celeron 600, overclocked to 900), then memory again...now it's Celeron 1.1GHz (modified and overclocked to 1364), 512MB RAM and 64MB Radeon 9100, still with the P2B :)
