I have areally anoying problem at the start of my boot up. Im using:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cmos Setup Utility (C) 1984-1999 Award Software <-hence my bios;)
Intel Gwmmmc7 Mother Board
Intel P3 256mg of ram
20 gig hard drive-running windows`98
--------------------------------------------
At boot up of my machine it does this really anoying memory test witch stops my machine from booting for 3 minuits. Its not a serious problem as such, it does allow me to press esc key if i want to skip the process, but it does get really anoying when your in a hurry:( I was just wondering if there is an option to turn this thing off.

One other question witch does not have anything to do with bios at all but just on the off chance- has any one had any problems with the new WinTV Nova pci card? After about 5 minuits of watching digital tv the whole software that was given with wintv nova freezes ? any ideas? Ive checked for updates but no luck;( By the way very nice website hopefully i wont be needing it again:) If you know what i mean:) But very informative. Thanks for you help.

Isn't that GigaByte GA-6WMMC7 board? The "Quick Power On Self Test" option is hidden in BIOS setup but it can be enabled by loading Optimized Defaults.
