Apollo Pro133A (694X) and 512MB DIMM Compatibility

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

1. BIOS problem - try with another bios.
2. Memory problem - try another memory-stick.

1) I'm running the latest BIOS.

2) Yeah...I could try that, if I had some larger sticks at my disposal. Unfortunately that isn't the case.

It still doesn't explain why the stick is recognized with others but not on it's own...

Try ANOTHER bios. To example - from this manufacturer, other models on like chipsets. Or another manufacturers. Best is - Acorp, PCPartner (on this chipset), Chaintech.

for its worth ,ap133 /693a mobo did not accept any of the ecc256 mb ram
nor 3 x 128mb ecc ram (only posted once with 384) on default bus speeds
but runs fine @150 fsb with 128mb ea in slot 1 and 3 with (256)cas 2-2-2 timings on compaq pc100 ecc ram
i beleive the best via tech expert is george breeze,his software tools
are brilliant and i thouroughly reccomend his reads.
