Maxtor 40 Gig and Shuttle HOT-641

Hi,

I'll appreciate any help on this issue. I have a Maxtor 40 Gig hard drive and when I do the Auto-detect in the BIOS, it freeze. I have the latest release of the BIOS (641WIQ09) and I doesn't seem to be patched to support >32 Gig hard drive.

For the moment I'm using the drive with the Capacity Limitation jumper on but I'd like to be able to use the whole disk.

I'm using Linux on this computer and it doesn't work well with a drive overlay software.

If someone can patch the BIOS I would be very happy.
