As far as I'm aware AMI BIOSes are not patchable. However, there seems to be a newer BIOS, 1.16m:
ftp://ftp.levi.cz/pub/support/driver/mb ... 98116m.zip
The notes on http://support.levi.cz/soubor.php?produkt=ZX98-CT don't say anything about bigger hard drive support though. Looks like you're stuck with either restricting the drive capacity to 32 GiB (see jumper settings) or using an additional IDE controller (e.g. Promise Ultra100 TX2 with BIOS 2.20 b14 or later) which would also help performance.

Do you want some weirdness..I use a maxtor 8.6gb as Master and a seagate 40gb as slave on the same ide cable (cyrixMII-333) but only the maxtor exists as far as the bios is concerned. After xp was installed I hot swapped the seagate40 onto the cable and formatted it NTFS, After a reboot the seagate still doesn't exist in the bios but xp now calls it C:\ !! though it still boots from the Maxtor (F:\)????? The bios is still set to boot from C:\???? Strange but true..My thoughts..If it ain't broke don't fix it!! This is really WEIRD
