Diamond Viper V330 Bios Upgrade

Postby Kachorro » Fri Nov 04, 2005 10:47 am

Hello!!
I have a Diamond Viper V330 with 8Mb PCI, the chip is Riva 128ZX. I upgraded the bios with the wrong version (Bios 1.62) and the videocard was broken.
The card almost work in DOS and Windows in VGA mode only. I need the version 1.81 or superior of the bios.
Thanks!!

Version 1.82B (nv3t182b.rom) is what you are looking for. That seems to be the last release for the 8MB version of this card. I'm trying to hunt it down.

Is there any way you could find the bios update for the V330 4MB version?

It might I don't know for sure and I don't want to risk that right now. If 1.62 does the trick leave as is, if 1.82b needed after all we will have to try and make sure 100% it will work before sending the file.
