Ok, I see. I talked about a nx7010 and nx8220. Both are not using
a phoenix bios.

I have a Compaq v5000 laptop.
I wanted to put in a linux friendly MINIPCI card.
It is not on the whitelist.
I would prefer to edit the bios than the card.
I have found the bios, found the current card in the hex, changed the PC ID and SubSystem to my new card's, tried to flash the bios back, and I recieved a CRC error in the flash program (fortunatly before the bios was flashed)

If you could help me I would appreceate it.

Modding details for the HP/Compaq Presario B1800. Should also work for Pavilion ZT3000, NX7000 and X1000 as the BIOS identifies itself to be of such origin.
