60GB: 05/05/1999-i440BX-W977EF-2A69KC39C-00

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

i tried a western digital 60 and it was a no go, i tried a maxtor 60 and it was also a no go. i believe it is a matsonic motherboard.

on the bios chip i see:
MB2-MB7070SD
UA8923-1 V1.0
05/05/1999 20D7

i searched and i couldnt find anything on here about it, and i searched for a bios update and i couldnt find one either.

can anyone help me with this?
