Hello ! After opening of my Phoenix-BIOS 6.00 (Board Abit NF7-S2G) all I can see is a black desktop with a blue horizontal bar at the bottom. In the upper left corner is a white "point", something like a DOS-Cursor but without function. No ESC or F10 are working, nothing.
Meanwhile I flashed another BIOS, cleared the CMOS and put a new energy-cell on the board. Nothing fixed it but my AMD Athlon XP 3000+ CPU runs only on 1050 MHz and 200 MHz instead of 2100 MHz and 400 MHz. And date and time are running correct !! Normal and last version is the one from July 4th 2005, nf_7215.
I need your help urgent - thanks
RainerMR

Have you tried clearing CMOS?
