bios update

my system is not recognising 40 gb hdd even as 32 GB pls help

Can you backup your BIOS and send me the file?
All you need is a system bootdisk (Win98 SE is good) and other diskette with awdflash. You can download here:

At the A: prompt type
awdflash a:backup.bin /sy /pn

sorry i think i have made some mistake in backup process
after command -- awdflash a:backup.bin /sy /pn it is asking for program file name and save file name. in save file name i have put backup.bin even after 1 hour the floppy drive light was steady . i turn off the system. now its beeping without any display, but when i put a floppy in drive, it's booting from the floppy. what to do now, pls help.

after trying to backup my bios, i am not able to boot the system, post screen is not coming, but when i am booting from floppy it is working, can any one help.
