HELP!!! sound...

Ok I have this program EVEREST, it's helping me track the info I need to fix my computer.
The other day I got a nasty bug, didn't want to mess with it anymore so I reformatted.. I have long sense lost my motherboard disc :X and need a sound driver for it.
I have an ECS VIA K7VTA3C V8 modle motherboard, I tried downloading the sound driver for the K7VTA3 v8 but it did not take.. can anyone help me, I'm computer weetaaddedd :<
