I have just bought an acer9101 laptop for my son
in the spec,s they say its with intel Pent M725 processor 1.6 Ghz
in " my computer"" it tells a processor of 1.73 gHz
but clockspeed is 793 Mhz ?? i don,t get in the bios where cpu
or fsb speed adjusments ( the option doesnt show in bios!!) !!! thanks for helllp

It looks you got a higher clocked CPU for the same price. the 800MHz is probably because of activated power saving options.

where can I see those power save options ?
problem is, unlike my own PC with asus board, i can,t get no
indications / things tio adapt in the bios of the acer laptop

Power saving options should be changed within your operating system, sometimes they disable if on AC power.
