Anybody out there with an ASUS P3V4X?

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

In short, bios is dead.

I need a copy of the boot block.
Please if you have this board save your boot block using Uni-Flash and email it to me.

Or if you know of another place to get it let me know.

Download the BIOS from Asus. The BIOS image file contains bootblock too.

Did that, befor when I only flashed the bios it flashed without a problem (but didn't work).


Now I flashed with the boot block, it flashes but shows a write errors.
I assume the chip has gone to silicon heaven...
(dead cells in the boot block area).


Now to find another chip........
