a driver for which operating system?
(as a rough guess...this chip is very old or to be precise : ancient. every operating system should have a driver for the CL54XX already build in)

For a card that old you are even lucky to have some driver support in Windoze XP. Don't expect to find something newer. All I saw with Google was Win 3.1x, 95/98 and NT.

Does XP have a driver for this card or is it using something generic like SuperVGA with 800x600 resolution ?

Try to get hold of an old Matrox Card like Mystique or Millenium - they do have XP drivers.
