thnx for the reply. Both boards have a heatsink cover on its NB and SB chips so I cant see the number. But i assume its fro VIA but as for the specific number, I cant determine.

Motherboard saved!
both boards have VIA chipsets. As for the latter, could this be a OCTEK RHINO P4X266A-A4P?
