If anyone gets the file there, please send an email to me so I know who has this file and I can keep track of it somewhat. If Compaq/HP ever decide they release an official update I can warn these people.

after flash the keyboard became unresponsive when i booted up. then when windows loaded i was left with the Unknown hardware issue. Is there a bios that will let you control the speed at which the chip will run?

Can you send me the 3.14 update for the BIOS as well?

Having issues with my A8AE-LE Motherboard

And yes, I'm running the 3.13 and it's ridiculously slow.

Thank you kindly.

I have 3.13 as well. XP Pro runs fine, but vista is horrid.

I must say that I was skeptical at first installing it. My version of XP is not HP/Compaq so I had no problems with it at all. Then there was Vista, my cpu being PEGGED at 100% 97% and the lowest I seen it go was 95%. I read a post saying that it helped them so I thought maybe I could try and if anything I could try to go back. All I can say is, Vista runs like it should. I mean my PC is no powerhouse, but when a 3400+ 2.2 GHz with 1.2 GB of ram with a 256 MB 7300GS can't run Vista something is wrong. It now runs quite nicely, I can multi task again. It worked. I can now log in and within 30 seconds everything in my tray is loaded.

Thank you for the feedback in that department. Another one for the fixlist. They really scr*wed up 3.13, didn't they?

Yes they did. However I was forced to move back to it. Because Vista would not let me "reactivate" however, I am now on Vista back on my old BIOS. The thing is though. I'm no longer seeing my CPU being pegged with 100% usage. Strange. And I don't have to reactive either. Well, it's nice to know that it either fixed itself, or my computer is just seriously messed up.
