BIOS for Chaintech 6ESA2 (or Soyo 6BB) with 128 GB Patch ?

Hi,

i need an patched BIOS for my Chaintech 6ESA2 (or Soyo 6BB) to get my 76GB IBM drive to run.

BIOS string for 6ESA2 is: 06/04/1999-i440EX-8671-2A69JC39C-00
BIOS is from AWARD Version 4.51PG.

For the Soyo i don't kown now - but it's not so importent, now .

Please, can anybody help me ?

I have newer BIOS for 6ESA2 board: "08/27/1999-i440EX-8671-2A69JC39C-00" I can patch it for HDDs over 32GB, but it will hang on the configuration table when using HDD over 64GB. My program for patching the 64GB bug is still not finished - try asking Jan.

Can you send me that newer 6esa2 BIOS? I will see what I can do with it.
Being from 08/99 it may already have 128GB support.

i have tried the BIOS form Rainbow (just for fun) - it works for the board but not for my ibm disk .
(System hangs on autodetect.)

That is the original, non-patched version. The 32GB-patched version will not hang at autodetect but at configuration table.
