DDR DIMM Warranty Return Problem

Postby JEWilson » Mon Oct 16, 2006 12:43 am

Req some help identifying a DDR DIMM.

Elixir M2U51264DS8HB3G-75B 512MB DDR-266 MHz CL2.5.

The problem is the shop where purchased has closed.
Require to source distributor of the DIMM instead.
Live in the UK.

The DIMM has a label with barcode stating warranty void if removed.
The label has a decal detailing a blue (hatched) letter O with
a solid blue T inside but to the right of the letter O.

The DIMM has failed. Any help greatly appreciated for
warranty return.

Doesn't sounds familiar. What was the name of the shop?

Hi - the RMA link does not work. Hmmm - typical.

The memory is greater than one year old. Elixir state this is the
length of their warranty but... depends on country where
purchased.

What shop? Maybe we can track down the owner and find out where he got this stuff...

Edwin n'all,

Thx.
The shop was based Glasgow, Scotland called Infinity Computers
I believe. The shop is now closed and has been for some time.

If I could identify the distributor from the decal - see previous
post in thread, I could contact them and get the DIMM replaced.[/img]
